By becoming a financial member of EDBA you are primarily offering your support and commitment in the fight against BSL. Online EDBA forums are available at www.dogzonline.com.au

Membership and donated monies have been used to fund "Freedom of Information" requests, obtain court transcripts and assist with court cases primarily in Queensland where Councils are removing innocent pets and issuing destruction orders. These are pets that have NOT offended in any way other than being perceived to be of a particular breed or type.

Attendance by EDBA representatives at the 2003 and 2004 Urban Animal Management (UAM) Conferences was also funded. A review paper titled “Does Breed Specific Legislation reduce dog aggression on humans and other animals?” was presented at the 2003 UAM conference and subsequently published in the conference proceedings.

Many other costs are incurred including printing of information brochures, stickers and attendance at Pet Expos and information days.
